Goalkeeper Trainer Amadi predicts Heartland home win against Katsina United

Heartland FC Goalkeeper Trainer, Emeka Amadi has revealed that the technical crew has prepared a team that is set to end the club’s unproductive start to the season when the Owerri side takes on Katsina United on Sunday in a Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday Three tie.

The Naze Millionaires began the season with successive defeats to Enyimba and Rivers United. However, Amadi disclosed to the club’s media that errors noticed in earlier games have been corrected and the team is raring to go against the Chanji Boys.

“The technical crew has prepared a team ready for the weekend’s game. The errors noticed in the earlier games have been corrected and we are going all out for our first win of the season against Katsina United,” Amadi told Heartland FC Media.

We are prepared for this game we know it is a do-or-die affair but we shall come back alive with the three points. We are working hard to make sure we take the three points that are at stake against Katsina United.”

Amadi who was the Flying Eagles’ Goalkeeper in the famous Damman Miracle of Saudi Arabia’s 1989 FIFA U20 World Cup said the players have been tutored on what to be done to secure the three points and are ready to internalize what has been shared with them through the Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke.

“The boys know the situation we are in. We are last on the league table and are trying to come out of the situation. The boys are fired up and they know we have to win and take it up from there.”

The Goalkeeper Trainer charged the club’s fans to massively come to the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday to lead the team to victory.

He assured them that the difficult spell Heartland FC had had was just a phase that would soon pass.

“Our fans should not give up on us. We are ready to fight and we have not lost hope. We need our fans support and don’t feel bad about the situation we are in at the moment,” Amadi added.

“You know every seed will die before it germinates and thereafter bear fruits. We are in the process. Make us proud by coming out to encourage us and we will not disappoint you people.”
